ULTIMATE SUDOKU

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Geos Media RG handles information in the Ultimate Sudoku Android app (the “App”). Ultimate Sudoku is a single-player logic game with an optional global leaderboard, a Daily Challenge and anonymous usage analytics.

Information we collect

The App stores game progress, settings and Daily Challenge streaks on your device. When you submit a completed puzzle to a leaderboard, the App creates or uses an anonymous Firebase Authentication identifier and sends the puzzle category, score, completion time, challenge date (for Daily Challenge results) and update time.

Leaderboard records use the generic display label “Player”. The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location or payment information.

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate product use. Analytics events include started and completed puzzles, Daily Challenge completions and leaderboard opens. Google/Firebase may process pseudonymous technical information such as an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, approximate IP-derived service information and service logs to operate, secure and measure the service.

How we use information

Leaderboard visibility

Leaderboard results are visible to other App users. They show the generic player label, puzzle category, score and score, completion time. We do not intentionally display your email address, real name or other profile information in the leaderboard.

Service providers and sharing

The App uses Google Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database and Google Analytics for Firebase. These providers process information only as needed to provide, measure, secure and troubleshoot their services. We do not sell personal information or use information for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the App or the service.

Retention, security and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. A leaderboard record is retained while needed to operate the leaderboard, or until it is replaced or deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the applicable Google Analytics for Firebase settings. Connections to Firebase use HTTPS and database access is protected by security rules.

To request deletion of an anonymous leaderboard record, contact geos.media.mt@gmail.com with “Ultimate Sudoku data deletion” in the subject and include the puzzle category, score, and approximate completion date. We may need this information to locate an anonymous record.

Children’s privacy

Ultimate Sudoku is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed specifically to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Changes and contact

We may update this Policy when the App, our services or legal requirements change. The current version and date will remain on this page. For questions, contact geos.media.mt@gmail.com.
